Driving Directions to MHCC Main Campus
From I-84 East
Mt. Hood Community College is located approximately 17 miles east of Portland, Oregon. When driving to the campus, take Interstate 84 to the Troutdale Exit (Exit 17). After exiting the freeway, go south on 257th street (Kane Rd) two miles to Stark street. The college is located at the corner of 257th and Stark with the main entrance being on 257th (Kane Rd).

From Seattle:
· I-5 South to I-205 South (at Exit 7)
· I-205 South to I-84 East (at about Exit 22b) be sure to head toward Mt. Hood and The Dalles
· I-84 to Troutdale (Exit 17)
· Straight through at the Stop Sign (Frontage Road)
· Frontage Road to 257th Avenue (turn right at the light)
· 257th through Stark Street (about 5 lights)
MHCC is on the left after (or to the South of) Stark Street (Entrances are on the LEFT)
 

From Portland
· I-84 East to Troutdale (Exit 17)
· Continue on Frontage road past first stop light
· Frontage Road to 257th Avenue (turn right at the light)
· Turn right on 257th Avenue (second stop light)
MHCC is on the left after (or to the South of) Stark Street (Entrances are on the LEFT)
 

From Portland International Airport:
· I-205 South to I-84 East (at about Exit 22b) or 2nd Exit
· I-84 East to Troutdale (Exit 17)
· Straight through at the Stop Sign (Frontage Road)
· Frontage Road to 257th Avenue (turn right at the light)
· 257th through Stark Street (about 5 lights)

From Salem:
· I-5 North to I-205 North (about Exit 21)
· I-205 North to I-84 East (Exit 22) - follow the signs to "The Dalles"
· I-84 East to Troutdale (Exit 17)
· Straight through at the Stop Sign (Frontage Road)
· Frontage Road to 257th Avenue (turn right at the light)
· 257th through Stark Street (about 5 lights)
MHCC is on the left after (or to the South of) Stark Street (Entrances are on the LEFT)
 

From Central Oregon (Bend)
· Highway 26 West to Gresham
· Right at East Powell Blvd. (1st light in Gresham proper or the next after Orient Dr.
· East Powell Blvd about 4 blocks to Kane Road (turn LEFT at 4-Way Stop)
· Kane Road to MHCC (about 15 blocks)
· After crossing Division Street it is about 9 blocks to MHCC
· MHCC is on the right after 17th Street

Parking

The best place to park is in the lot reached off of Kane Road and NE 29th Street. Signs will be posted to help you find the room, but if you start from the fountain it’s hard to miss. The fountain is the large round object in the upper ‘D’ shaped turnaround in the maps above. 

Vendors, you will want to drive around and park in the lot below or to the right of the building to reach the freight elevator. Follow the circular turnaround to unload at the elevator, then park.
